Meet the Founder

Atermed is headed by Stefanos Chatzitsopanis, a Mechanical Engineer, with specialization in biomedical technology and many years of experience in the field of medical technology applications. He is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds an MSc Biomedical Engineering from the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien).
His professional career includes research activity at the ACIN Research and Development Institute of the Vienna University of Technology, where he was involved in the development and evaluation of medical technology solutions. At the same time, he actively collaborates with medical device manufacturing companies, maintaining direct contact with modern developments in the industry. It has high expertise in specialized technologies such as MicroCalorimetry and Particle Size Analyzers, a fact reflected in Atermed's philosophy: product selection with scientific criteria, technical validity and real value for the end user and healthcare professional. For the founder of Atermed, technology is not an end in itself. It is a tool that must serve health, safety, and daily well-being.
